We got word yesterday that Glad Tidings Vancouver may be able to host Hannah's fund raiser on June 20th. Comedian Tim Hawkins has agreed to do a benefit for Hannah and we have been looking for a space that can accommodate a large group (we were hoping for 2000 but 1700 is plenty). We pray that the board at GT will say yes.
Second piece of news from today involves Hannah's orthodontist. He has just arrived home from Australian to find out everything is a go for surgery in Sept. He wants to come to NYC during Hannah's procedure and learn what is done so he can perform the same procedure here in Vancouver. This means that once Hannah has had her surgery there will be no other Canadian forced to travel out of Canada to have this procedure. I am so excited about this development.
Our church family have really step up to the plate in recent days and we have it confirmed that they are going to create a special benevolent fund for supports who want to donate through the church. Another great development.
